I Am Learning Scooter Skills

We had a special day at school to learn how to be safe on our scooters. It was fun.

I Am Learning to Find the Beginning Sound

We were using the ipads to play phonics games. We had to listen to the word and then choose the  letter that made the beginning sound. 

"It's fun. I listen to the sound, then I move the right letter to the beginning of the word."

I Am Learning About Fractions

We are learning about halves. It can be tricky sometimes to give them the same amount each when we share things. When we cut things in half both pieces must be the same size.

"I cut the shapes in half and shared the lollies so they had half each. It was fun."

I Am Learning To Write a Sentence

I am learning to write a sentence about my picture. I need to remember to put a capital letter at the beginning and a full stop at the end. I also need to remember to leave finger spaces.

" I can remember finger spaces, capital letters and full stops. I think I am clever at story writing."
